AI CHART ANALYSIS FOR METATRADER 5

Screenshot Your MT5 Chart. Get the Entry, Stop and Target.

WickScan reads a MetaTrader 5 or MT4 screenshot — XAUUSD or any forex pair, from an M1 scalping chart up to the daily — and returns one structured read: Buy or Sell, the patterns it found, support and resistance, and a bracket with entry, stop-loss and target taken from the chart's own price axis, in pip precision. Three AI engines have to agree. No Expert Advisor, no account connection. Free to start, and free scans recharge every day.

Can AI read an M1 or M5 scalping chart from MT5?

Yes — M1 and M5 are among the timeframes WickScan reads most. A scalping read is the same structured output as any other timeframe: a direction, the structure behind it (break of structure, higher highs and lower lows, the last swing that would invalidate the idea), and a bracket. Because the levels are read off a calibrated price axis rather than estimated, a scalp's tight stop is a real price, not a guess a few dollars or pips away.

Three habits make a scalping read sharper. Capture enough candles to show the last two or three swing highs and lows — a screenshot of the last handful of bars has no structure to read. Keep the price scale on the right in frame. And check the M15 or H1 before you act on an M1 setup: a scalp against the higher timeframe is a different trade. WickElite's multi-timeframe scan takes several charts of the same symbol as one read and says where the timeframes agree.

Gold and forex on MT5

XAUUSD. Gold is one of the most-scanned symbols on WickScan, and MT5 screenshots of it read cleanly — including broker symbols with suffixes. The full gold guide, with the scalping checklist, is on AI gold chart analysis.

Forex pairs. EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY and the rest read at the precision your chart's price axis shows, so the stop and target are quoted the way your broker quotes them. More on reading currency charts on AI forex chart analysis.

MT5 already has indicators. Why an AI read?

MetaTrader 5 is a complete platform — 21 timeframes, 38 built-in technical indicators and 44 analytical objects, per MetaQuotes' own technical-analysis page as of October 2026. Nothing here argues you need better charting.

What a screenshot read adds is a reader that isn't you — one that sees the chart and not your open position, and commits to a named invalidation level before you click. It is also not an Expert Advisor: nothing is installed on MetaTrader, nothing trades for you, and there is no account connection. You get a written read of one chart; the decision stays yours.

How is this different from uploading the chart to ChatGPT?

A general assistant will describe your MT5 screenshot fluently and estimate the levels — differently each time you ask, with no price-to-pixel calibration and no second opinion. WickScan does one job: a calibrated, repeatable read of the chart image, cross-checked by three engines, that abstains when the chart has no clean setup and gives you the trigger levels to wait for instead. Honest head-to-heads: WickScan vs ChatGPT and vs Claude.

Is it free?

Yes — WickFree is a permanent free tier with no credit card and the complete analysis output, including the exact entry, stop-loss and take-profit read. Free scans recharge every day; WickPro ($35.99/month list price) gives a far larger allowance that recharges every week. WickScan is an educational analysis tool — it does not stream live market data, connect to a broker, execute trades or promise outcomes, and nothing it produces is financial advice.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best AI to analyze an MT5 chart screenshot for gold or forex scalping?

For a structured read rather than a conversation, use a tool built for chart screenshots. WickScan reads the MT5 or MT4 screenshot itself: it finds the chart area and the symbol, reads the price axis, and calibrates a price-to-pixel map before reporting any level, so entry, stop-loss and target come from the prices your chart actually shows — in pip precision for forex. Three AI engines analyze the chart independently and their consensus becomes the read, and it says so when there is no clean setup. A general assistant like ChatGPT can discuss the chart well, but it estimates levels freehand and can answer differently each time.

Can AI read a 1-minute or 5-minute MT5 chart?

Yes. WickScan reads whatever timeframe the screenshot shows, and M1 and M5 charts of XAUUSD and the major pairs are among the charts it reads most. For a scalp, capture enough recent candles to show the last swing highs and lows, keep the price axis in frame, and check the M15 or H1 chart for the bigger trend before acting.

Is WickScan an Expert Advisor or a signal service?

Neither. Nothing is installed on MetaTrader, there is no EA, no copy-trading and no account connection — WickScan cannot see your positions or place a trade. You upload a screenshot and get back a written read of that chart: direction, patterns, levels and a bracket with a risk-reward ratio. What you do with it is your decision. It is an educational analysis tool, not financial advice.

Does it work with MT4, MT5 mobile and other brokers' platforms?

Yes. MT4 and MT5 desktop windows, the MetaTrader mobile apps, cTrader, TradingView and broker apps all read the same way, in dark or light themes — the read comes from the image, not from a platform integration. If the price axis is visible, the levels are real prices.

Does WickScan stream live quotes or news?

No, and that is deliberate. WickScan analyzes only the chart image you upload — no live feed, no news, no economic calendar, and no claim to verify outcomes against a market feed. Before a scalp around a high-impact release, check the calendar yourself.
